Hy90® is a 90mm thick LVL product with all the attributes of increased strength and consistency of performance as others in the LVL range.
It is designed for use in structural beams where the builder wants high and consistent performance, coupled with a material that fits within 90mm framing.
Applications will typically be for load-bearing lintels in houses, larger span garage door lintels and beams or for beams where the 90mm width is desired.
Hy90 is available treated to H3 LOSP level only, for use in weather-protected applications.
Features include:
- Manufacturing tolerance - 2 mm/+ 0.5mm to ensure it is contained within the framing
- Straight & true for ease of fabrication and construction
- less warp, twist and cup as per double sawn sections
- Lintel span tables are available
- Lengths available to 12 metres
- 150, 200, 240, 300, 360 and 400 mm depth
- Set length packs are standard
