Hyjoist® Engineered I-Joists Hyjoist® Engineered I-Joists are cost effective, lightweight I-Joists used in residential and commercial construction. Consisting of Hyspan Structural LVL flanges with a structural plywood web, Hyjoist is strong, light and easy to install. With seven new section sizes it allows specifiers to maximise performance of a floor design in depth, span, load and cost. This gives greater design flexibility for cost effective floor layouts.
Treatment
Where required Hyjoist I-Joists can be LOSP H3 treated level for weather protected applications, in accordance with AS/ NZS 1604.4. This treatment is equivalent to H3.1 in NZS 3640. Sealing cut ends of treated product is strongly recommended.
